It’s That Time Again !

All in One: FAFSA and 1040 Completion

The UDC Office of Financial Aid joins the UDC Accounting Club for its FREE tax clinic on Saturdays to assist with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Each Saturday from 10AM- 2:30PM (now through April 10th) in Bldg. 32, Rm. C05B, you will be able to get your 1040 and your FAFSA completed “all in one sitting”…all for FREE!
*Dependent students are required to provide parental data including the IRS 1040; married students are required to provide IRS 1040 data for spouse.

2010/2011 FAFSA

The 2010/2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, commonly referred to as the FAFSA is available online at:

www.fafsa.ed.gov

Start the application process by:
  1. Applying for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) at www.pin.ed.gov
  2. Gathering all financial documents needed to complete the FAFSA
  3. Completing the FAFSA on line at: www.fafsa.ed.gov

The University of the District of Columbia’s school code is: 007015.

The FAFSA must be completed to be considered for funding from all federal student aid programs, including the federal Stafford Loan.

Residents of the District of Columbia are encouraged to apply for funding from the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) at www.osse.dc.gov.

Avoid Long Lines... Enjoy the flexibility of online access

You are able to check your financial aid status for the 2009/2010 academic year online via www.web4students.udc.edu. You must have your student ID number and UDC issued PIN (not federal PIN) in order to access your account. Click here for more information.


Debit Card Book Voucher Program

The Office of Financial Aid (OFA) in conjunction with the University Bookstore is pleased to announce that students will have the option of receiving book voucher funding in the form of a debit card. Click here for more information.
